How this is calculated
The optimizer checks every combination of components that fits your balance and picks the one that saves the most. It is deterministic: the same inputs always give the same answer. There is no AI involved.
Without a value per point, it maximises cash saved. With one, it only uses points where the saving beats what those points are worth to you, and it prefers plans that use fewer points when savings tie.
Points prices are treated as whole awards, so minimum redemption amounts are respected. Enter any cash still due on an award so it is counted.
